Groups for children of all ages
We offer music play school groups for 0–6-year-olds and music groups for 7–9-year-olds. The groups operate in Tampere, Hämeenkyrö, Kangasala and Ylöjärvi.
The purpose of the music play school and the music groups is to awaken a child’s interest in music and to promote their musical development. The education supports the balanced growth of a child’s personality and their natural musicality in an accepting and positive environment. The central principles are the holistic experiencing of music, memorable education, and interaction with others.
Enrolment
Enrolment for the groups for 2025–2026 begins on Monday 12.5. at 17:00. The enrolment form will appear here on the same day.

The groups are filled in the order of enrolment. If the group you have chosen is full at the moment, please join the wait list, as places might free up later.
Some groups might already be full because the current pupils in music play school have been able to reserve their continuation place in advance.
The fastest way to fill in the enrolment form is to use the Chrome browser on a computer.

Music play school fees 2025–2026
You can find the semester fees for music play school beginning from 1.1.2025 below.
The music play school fees are based on the length of the lesson:
• groups 45 min/week €150
• groups 50–60 min/week €170
• groups over 60 min/week €200
Exception:
• music play school for siblings 45 min/week €115/child
• Band carousel 45 min / week €240
• Ukulele Group 45 min / week €240
Billing and cancellation policy
The fees are per one semester, billed in September and January, after the first two weeks of instruction.
Pupils who join a music play school group in the middle of a semester are billed according to the beginning date, and the shorter semester is taken into account in the bill.
The enrolment concerns the entire academic year. In case of a cancellation in the middle of a semester, please send email to muskari@pmo.fi. If the cancellation is made no later than the due date of the invoice, the rest of the season’s fee will be refunded. Cancellations made after the due date will not be refunded.
Payment arrangements
A reduction on music play school fees is not possible, but the bill can be paid in 2–5 instalments. The first instalment must be paid by the due date. We can make arrangements regarding the number of instalments and the other due dates on an individual basis. Send an email to Vice Principal Niina Haapanen (laskutus@pmo.fi) before the due date of the bill to arrange payments.
