The Children’s choir Tactus has been the home for singing pupils in grades 3–6 in Tampere since 1974. Currently, the choir has around 25 singers from Tampere and the neighbouring municipalities. Most of the singers are pupils in the music classes in the schools in Tampere. Tactus teaches the basics of choir singing and lively expression.

Tactus has rehearsals every Tuesday at 16:15–17:45 at Aleksanteri school. The choir also has a camp 2–4 times a year.
