Accordion

The accordion is a nimble and diverse instrument that moves from one genre to another with ease. The musical literature for the accordion consists of different music styles for both solo and ensemble playing.

Accordionists start playing at ages 4 through 10. Beginner instruments are small and light. The teacher will help you choose a suitable instrument. The music institute can also rent beginner instruments to pupils. A small used accordion costs around 600–1,000 euros, and a new accordion costs upwards of 1,000 euros, depending on the model.

Playing the accordion has no physical requirements. An enthusiastic approach and parental support create a good basis for the hobby.
